Liver King Ordered to Steer Clear of Joe Rogan After Austin Arrest
Well, it looks like the Liver King’s debacle in Austin just hit a massive roadblock—and Joe Rogan can breathe a little easier.
Who is the 'Liver King'?
Brian Johnson, better known as the “Liver King,” was slapped with strict release conditions after being arrested Tuesday in Austin for allegedly threatening the popular podcaster on social media. According to the Austin Police Department, Johnson now has to stay at least 200 yards away from Rogan and his family members. That’s roughly football fields of space—so if Rogan hits up the local Walmart, Liver King’s gonna have to find a new protein aisle.

Oh, and it gets better: There’s also a strict no-contact order in place. That means no texts, no DMs, no smoke signals, and definitely no more Instagram videos challenging Rogan to a “man-to-man” brawl. (Which, yes, really happened.)
What Did the 'Liver King' Do to Cause the Issue?
In case you missed it, Liver King posted a series of bizarre videos earlier this week, daring Rogan to fight him—even admitting he had no jiu-jitsu training. Rogan, a black belt and current UFC commentator, reportedly found the posts threatening and told police he’s never even interacted with Johnson before. Law enforcement sources also said Rogan voiced concerns about Johnson’s possible drug use.

Johnson was arrested Tuesday evening at the Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Austin without incident. His bond was set at $20,000—and he’s already out. But now, part of his release conditions includes undergoing a mental health evaluation within a week.
It's Not Totally Surprising
Let’s be honest, the Liver King is no stranger to controversy. He rose to viral fame promoting an “ancestral lifestyle” that involved raw organ meat and shirtless rants—but it all took a turn when he admitted to using steroids and human growth hormone, despite earlier denials.
So, what’s next for the Liver King? For now, he’s banned from going anywhere near Rogan and has to keep his beefs offline. And in Austin, he might want to stick to grass-fed apologies instead of protein-fueled threats.
