Lowe’s to Hire Robots, Good Luck Finding One to Help
Finding a job in retail may soon become a whole lot more difficult.
Lowe's is getting set to roll out robots to work in a San Jose, California hardware supply store this holiday season to see how it can help streamline the shopping experience.
The robots, called OSHbots, will help you find whatever you are looking for and walk you to the correct aisle (although, to be fair, finding help in a Lowe's is almost as tough as finding the item you came to buy).
The robots will speak multiple languages and even direct you to a human sales associate, should you need one.
If the future of shopping is online, then you can say brick-and-mortar stores are fighting back with equally cool technology.
