Lubbock Early Voting Site Closed After Worker Tests Positive
The early voting site at the United Supermarket location at 130th Street and Indiana Avenue will be closed for the remainder of Wednesday, July 8th after an election worker tested positive for COVID-19.
The election site will be undergoing a Level 2 cleaning during the overnight hours and will reopen the next day, July 9th at 8 a.m.
Lubbock County Judge Curtis Parrish also announced 2 changes in election day locations for the July 14th Lubbock County Primary Runoff Elections.
Those wishing to cast their ballots at the Catholic Diocese at 4620 4th Street and now encouraged to vote at Rush Elementary School at 4702 15th Street. Also, the voting center at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 102 North Avenue P has been moved across the street to Guadalupe Elementary School.
Early voting for the Lubbock County Primary Runoff Elections continues through Friday, July 10th.
