Taco the Town – Lubbock Listeners Pick Their Favorites

I just saw today that Mexican food is America's #2 favorite food. It lost out to Italian food. I seriously think those numbers are skewed towards the large population of people who live in the northeast and get authentic Italian dishes.

Not that we don't have some truly GREAT Italian places around here. We most certainly do! But, we specialize in dishes from south of the border mixed with the flavors the locals around here love...a little thing called Tex-Mex!

Now, we do have some authentic Mexican restaurants, as in they serve food you would find in Mexico. But, what most of us really like are those Tex-Mex dishes that make your mouth water. And one of the Tex-Mex staples is the basic taco.

Crispy or soft. Chicken, beef or pork. It doesn't matter. We LOVE 'em!
