Lubbock Man Found Covered in Blood After Being Assaulted & Robbed
The night of Monday, January 31st, a Lubbock man was beaten and robbed by 6 unknown suspects at his apartment.
Lubbock Police responded to the 5800 block of 102nd Street a bit before 11:30 p.m. On arrival, they found a man with dried blood covering his face, head and clothes. They said the man seemed to be in shock and had multiple open wounds.
The victim, who wasn't identified, told police that he had heard a knock on his front door, and when he went to answer it, he was greeted with a gun pointed at his face. The suspects forced their way into the man's apartment, striking him multiple times in the process.
KAMC News reports the victim laid on the floor while the suspects ransacked the apartment. 2 or 3 suspects stood over him as the others looted what they could. At one point, one of the suspects said "If you want to live, you'll stop fighting."
The only other information the victim was able to provide was that there was a white Ford F-150 parked directly in front of the apartment.
As of Friday, February 4th, the suspects had yet to be located, along with the stolen property. The identities of the suspects remains unknown, and the victim was transported to University Medical Center. His current condition is unknown.
