Lubbock Police Investigate In-Custody Death

Lubbock Police are investigating an in-custody death that happened on Wednesday, November 20th at the Lubbock County Detention Center.

33-year-old Stafford Johnny Cleveland was taken to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. There were no signs of any injuries.

It was around 10:45 p.m. when the Metro Special Crimes Unit responded to the detention center and began their investigation, which is currently ongoing.
