Man Wins $250,000 on Live TV Ending Streak of Bad Luck
Maybe karma is real -- the man in this video, Bill Morgan, was in a car accident. Then he developed a heart condition. He was allergic to the medicine doctors gave him to treat it and had a heart attack. In fact, his heart stopped for 14 minutes, and he went into a coma. They were about to pull the plug on his life support when things turned around.
He came out of his coma, got engaged and won a car in a lottery scratch ticket. But it didn't stop there. A news crew was filming a reenactment of his seemingly miraculous turn of luck, so he went back to the same newsstand and bought another ticket. Then he won $250,000 on camera.
It makes no sense, and also makes us want to start buying scratch tickets.
