Tasty News: You Can Get a Free Smoothie in Lubbock This Friday

It's officially flip flop weather in Texas, and if you wear that comfy footwear on Friday, you could walk away with a free smoothie. Yum!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe is giving away 16-ounce Sunshine smoothies (that's mango, banana, orange, pineapple & orange juice) on Friday, June 14th from 2 to 7 p.m. to celebrate National Flip Flop Day, which, apparently, is an actual thing.

We called the two Tropical Smoothie Cafes in Lubbock (2520 82nd Street and 5139 80th Street), and yes, they are both participating.

There's just one catch: you have to wear flip flops. No big deal.
