Over 4,000 LP&L Customers Without Power Friday Afternoon [UPDATED]

As of 6:45 p.m. on Friday, power was restored to the Arnett Benson neighborhood in north Lubbock.
According to Lubbock Power and Light's Outage Map, over 4,000 customers were without power starting at around 5 p.m. Friday afternoon in the Arnett Benson neighborhood.
KAMC News reports that there was an equipment failure in west Lubbock that interrupted service for customers.
Crews are on scene to restore the outage.
