Paul McCartney to Perform in Concert at the United Spirit Arena

KFYO News has learned that legendary musical artist Paul McCartney will perform in concert at Texas Tech's United Spirit Arena later this year

City of Lubbock and Texas Tech University officials will make the official announcement at a press conference Wednesday morning at the Buddy Holly Center.

The 71 year-old musician was a member of The Beatles, founded the group Wings in 1971 and was knighted by Queen Elizabeth II in March of 1997.

Additional details, including the concert date will be announced at Wednesday's press conference.
