Original Story: Monday afternoon (Nov 20), an emergency alert went out regarding a suspicious package discovered at the Texas Tech campus in Lubbock, Texas.
According to the school, officers with the Texas Tech University Police Department are investigating a package that was discovered near Talkington Hall's parking lot. The school is asking everybody to avoid that area as officer continue their investigation.
The alert from TTU Emergency Alert reads:
This is an emergency notification from Texas Tech University. Texas Tech police are investigating a suspicious package in the area of Talkington Hall Parking. Please avoid the area at this time. Updates will be provided as available.
