The onslaught of classic sitcom revivals continues. Next on the factory floor is none other than Murphy Brown, as CBS is putting together an official reunion series with original star Candice Bergen and creator Diane English.

Charlie Rose joined the growing list of men whose alleged histories of sexual harassment and assault have been exposed in the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal. The 75-year-old host of Charlie Rose and former 60 Minutes correspondent was the subject of a recent exposé in The Washington Post, in which eight women bravely came forward to accuse Rose of sexual harassment and assault. According to a statement from CBS News president David Rhodes, Rose has been officially fired from the network.

Well, they weren’t going to have a Young Sheldon without at least giving the old Sheldon a proper sendoff. The Big Bang Theory is officially confirmed for a whopping forty-eight more episodes with a two-season renewal, but will it be their last?

According to The Wrap, CBS has partnered with digital video company Interlude (those behind that viral channel-changing lip-sync of “Like a Rolling Stone”) for the “original interactive project” allowing Twilight Zone viewers to “step in and become a part of the story.” BioShock creator Ken Levine will even write and direct the pilot episode.

Whereas CBS' decision to not move forward with 'HIMYM' spinoff 'How I Met Your Dad' proved pretty surprising, the fate of 'Two and a Half Men' was long overdue. The Ashton Kutcher comedy will indeed return for season 12 this fall, though the network finally confirmed that one of Chuck Lorre's flagship vehicles will come to a merciful end with a series finale thereafter.

Well, this is something of a surprise. Uncertain though we were at the prospect of 'How I Met Your Mother' living in on in the gender-flipped sequel series 'How I Met Your Dad,' it seems CBS has defied expectation to opt against picking up the series at least for now. So what went wrong that Greta Gerwig won't regale us for the next nine years with tales of 'How I Met Your Dad?'
