Lubbock’s Alamo Drafthouse Will Reopen Thursday, September 2nd
On Wednesday, August 18th, Lubbock's Alamo Drafthouse took to Twitter to announce that they will be reopening on Thursday, September 2nd.

Cinemark Is Reopening 1 of Its Lubbock Theaters on August 14th, 2020
When it reopens, Cinemark’s Tinseltown location at 82nd and University will not be showing new releases right away. Instead, the theater will be showing classic movies for $5 per person.
