The Senior Bowl is a post-season college football all-star game played each January in Mobile, Alabama, which showcases the best NFL Draft prospects of those players who have completed their college eligibility.

On Thursday morning it was announced that Texas Tech seniors Terence Steele and Jordyn Brooks not only were invited to the Senior Bowl, they accepted the invites to take part in the game.

Jordyn Brooks this season for the Red Raiders has been on an absolute war path. He is first in the Big 12 in tackles with 87, 16 of them being for a loss, also first in the Big 12.

Steele and Brooks will be the first Red Raiders to take part in the event since Le'Raven Clark and DeAndre Washington took part in the game back in 2016. Former Red Raider Davis Webb also took part in the Senior Bowl back in 2017 where he took home the MVP.

Steele, Brooks and the Red Raiders take on the West Virginia Mountaineers this Saturday at 11 a.m. looking to become 4-5 on the year. The Reese's Senior Bowl will take place on Saturday, January 25 from Mobile, Alabama.
