Oklahoma State’s Jeffrey Carroll hit a 3-pointer to put the Cowboys on top of the Texas Tech Red Raiders 62-60 with 18 seconds left in Saturday’s contest at the United Supermarkets Arena. However, Tech's Devaugntah Williams drilled a 3-pointer of his own eight seconds later to lift Tech to a 63-62 victory.

Williams, one of four Red raiders to finish in double digits scoring-wise, finished with 11 points connecting on 2-of-3 from long range including the game winner.

Todrick Gotcher led Tech with 17 points, freshman Norense Odiase added 14 and Robert Turner chipped in 11 points in the winning effort.

Le'Bryan Nash scored 19 for Oklahoma State (17-11, 7-9). Michael Cobbins had 10 points and 11 rebounds. Carroll finished with 12 points.

Tech (13-17, 3-14 ) was in the game because of an excellent close to the first half. They started 3 of 20 from the field in the period but made seven of their final eight shots. The offensive outburst led them to an 11-0 run over the final 1:18 and take a 31-17 lead at halftime.

Texas Tech visits  the Ferrell Center in Waco to take on No. 19 Baylor Saturday. The game will be televised on ESPN 2.
