According to new data from The Action Network, Texas is the worst state in America for package theft, with a 29.8% probability that your holiday deliveries might not make it inside.

How bad is it? Well, 5% of Texans have already reported a stolen package in the last three months, and our state recorded a whopping 12,529 larceny-theft cases from homes in 2023—the highest in the nation. Even North Carolina and Florida, which rank second and third on the list, can’t compete with our unfortunate holiday stat.
