Thanksgiving is all about loading up your plate with your personal favorites—but not every dish is a crowd-pleaser. In fact, some of the staples we love here in West Texas make the "most hated" list nationwide. A new poll of 1,000 Americans has revealed the top Thanksgiving foods people plan to avoid this year, and some of the results are downright shocking I tell you. Shocking!

Let’s start with the turkey. Yes, the turkey, the star of the show, tops the most-hated list. A whopping 35% of people said they’re not fans of the bird. Maybe it’s too dry, or maybe folks just don’t like the pressure of cooking it. Either way, it’s a love-it-or-hate-it situation. Personally, I 'm not a huge fan. I'll eat it, but it better be COVERED in gravy and cranberry sauce!

Following closely behind is stuffing or dressing (32%). While it’s practically a requirement here in Texas, apparently not everyone is on board with the carb-heavy side. Speaking of proteins, ham (32%) also made the list—proof that it’s not a guaranteed crowd-pleaser.

Sweet potatoes or yams (29%) and cranberry sauce (29%) are polarizing as always. Are they too sweet? Too mushy? Or maybe they just don’t pair well with everything else on the plate.

Now, brace yourself: mashed potatoes (22%) also made the list. Sacrilege, right?!? Add green bean casserole (23%), coleslaw (22%), and pumpkin pie (22%), and you’ve just rounded out the items people dislike the most.

Interestingly, 12% of Americans said they love every single Thanksgiving food, from the turkey to the pies. Meanwhile, others wouldn’t mind skipping some of the classics entirely.

So, Lubbock, where do you fall? Are you all-in on turkey and sides, or do you secretly hope someone forgets the cranberry sauce or the mashed potatoes this year?
