The Comedy Duo Rhett & Link Spent an Entire Night Singing Lionel Richie’s ‘All Night Long’ 158 Times in a Row

As far as dumb ideas go, this one's pretty stupid. The YouTube comedy duo Rhett & Link decided to take the Lionel Richie song "All Night Long" literally...by singing it pretty much non-stop from sunset to sunrise, or about 11 hours.

They sang it a total of 158 times, but cut it down to just under five minutes and posted it on YouTube.

First it's just the two of them singing over a karaoke machine on the beach. Then four hours later, a cop makes them turn it off even though he says he LOVES Lionel Richie.

Eventually they show up at a house party around four in the morning, and get EVERYONE to sing it.

They start the music at :14, talk to the cop at 1:10, hit Hollywood Boulevard in L.A. at 1:45, and show up at the party at 3:02.
