The Who’s Roger Daltrey Selling 1976 Tour T-Shirt for Teenage Cancer Trust Charity
How much would you give for a piece of rock and roll history? The Who‘s Roger Daltrey wants to know, as he’s attempting to continue his support of the Teenage Cancer Trust charity by putting up his 1976 green tour t-shirt on the block.
The bright green shirt with ’70s-style pressed-on yellow lettering that reads “Fillmore East” and yellow and white stripes around the shoulder area has been autographed by Daltrey to add to the shirt’s value.
At last check, the shirt was already up to 1,261 pounds, which equates to $1,992. The shirt was described as being in “good” condition via eBay, though it definitely has some wear from Daltrey’s tour through the U.S. back in 1976.
Daltrey has been a longtime supporter of the Teenage Cancer Trust. The U.K. organization do their best to aid the quality of life and chances of survival for youths with cancer between the ages of 13 and 24.
