From Minivans to Mustangs: What Lubbock Drivers Are (and Aren’t) Driving
If you’ve noticed more minivans cruising around the Hub City, you’re not imagining things. According to a recent study by iSeeCars, the Chrysler Pacifica is the most-driven 3-year-old vehicle in Lubbock, averaging a whopping 22,931 miles per year. That’s 51.1% more than the city’s average of 15,177 miles and significantly higher than the national average of 12,307 miles per year.
What the Study Said
Lubbock drivers, it seems, are no strangers to the open road. The study analyzed odometer readings from over 2 million used cars across the U.S., focusing on 3-year-old models to determine which vehicles are driven the most and least.

Karl Brauer, Executive Analyst at iSeeCars, noted:
High utility vehicles, including trucks, SUVs, and minivans, have a natural advantage when it comes to being driven more because of their ability to serve so many purposes. Conversely, sports cars and performance cars are often relegated to occasional use, and are driven far less.
