The Holidays can be a stressful time of year and sometimes your stress level can increase or decrease depending on what you eat.

Brenda Garcia with United Supermarkets joined me this week to talk about stress and eating. Garcia first talked about "complex carbs", which can actually be good for you. Complex carbs are things like whole grains. Those have more fiber and can help the brain put out more calming hormones. Garcia also suggested eating oranges and other items with vitamin C. Garcia also suggested eating cashews because they can give you more energy during the day.

Listen to the entire interview above to hear about which foods help reduce stress this time of year.
