Hatch Green Chile Fest Returns This Weekend at United Supermarkets
A favorite of Lubbock is returning this weekend. United Supermarkets' annual Hatch Green Chile Fest is back and ready to roast. Brenda Duby with United Supermarkets joined us to discuss this weekend's festival.
This Saturday and Sunday (August 5 and 6), each United location will be roasting green chile peppers from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The fresh green chile peppers are a great source of Vitamin C according to Duby, and go great with many foods including soups and sandwiches.
