Highland Oaks Hot Rods In The Park Is This Saturday

The 2nd annual Highland Oaks Hot Rods in the Park is Saturday June 30th from 8-4. This is more than just cool cars on a weekend. There's a pool and water slides and bounce houses for the kids, along with food trucks and more.

Ok at first I didn't know Lubbock even had an area known as Highland Oaks. We do. Its south of town around 150th and Slide, in Woodrow. That makes sense since the $30 entry fee goes to benefit the Woodrow Fire Department. So you can cruise some cool cars for a good cause, and the kids can play all day too. The show is officially located at 5345 County Road 7540 (check out the Google map below for directions).
