Hooters Released a 9/11 Memorial Video [VIDEO]
The tenth anniversary of 9/11 was a day for somber reflection and remembrance, even for the waitresses at Hooters.
They released a YouTube video over the weekend of Hooters girls from around the country thanking the troops, firefighters, cops, and paramedics. It's called "Hooters Remembers".
Here it is:
The interesting part of all of this is the comments people left on the original video.
One person said, 'So 9/11 is just another excuse to say, "Look at me! I'm so pretty! Look at my boobs!" Don't you ladies get enough unearned attention every other day of the year? Sometimes it's not about you.'
Another said, 'Why did they forget to thank their surgeons? Appalling.'
I don't get why these people are so angry. Don't they know that many of our servicemen are sleeping in the desert at night dreaming about hot wings and cold beer being served to them by a waitress at their neighborhood Hooters?
Seriously, when by brother-in-law got back from his first tour of Afghanistan (first of FOUR, I might add), the very first meal we all had together was at the Hooters in Lubbock. We drank a couple of beers, ate some wings, watched his Buffalo Bills play football and the Hooters girls even sang a 'Welcome Home' song to him.
God bless 'em!
