Halloween in on Monday, and if you're like me, you've already purchased some candy to hand out to the ghosts and goblins that will be ringing your doorbell. You've probably also been tempted to dig into the Halloween candy bowl yourself.

Brenda Duby with the United Family of stores joined us this week to talk Halloween candy and the calories associated with it.

According to Duby, some of your favorite bite size chocolate candy like Twix only have about 80 calories per "fun size" stick. The small pouches of M&M's have roughly 70 calories. Duby says it's all about portion control and, of course, responsibility. In other words: Don't eat all the candy in one night.

Duby also encouraged people to go to the Market Street blog for great dinner ideas for Halloween.

Listen to the full interview above to hear more about candy and calories, and don't forget to get your candy for Halloween at United Supermarkets.
