Another Restaurant in a Popular Area of Lubbock Closes Its Doors, For Now At Least
Another business has closed their doors but it's possible they could reopen sometime in the future. It was announced just a few days ago, but the closing still shocked many that were fans of El Mitote in Lubbock.
El Mitote Mexican Bar & Grill Closes In Lubbock
El Mitote first opened in Lubbock in June of 2021 calling themselves a "sports lounge" before transitioning to El Mitote Mexican Bar & Grill as they are known today. It's been known for it's food, live music, and drinks.
El Mitote is located along the popular Milwaukee corridor in Southwest Lubbock.
Could El Mitote Reopen At Some Point?
The good news is El Mitote might actually be reopening at some point, but in a new location.
About a week ago, El Mitote took to Instagram to announced that they would be closing soon. In the post, El Mitote said they are in a "process of transformation and remodeling". At the end of the post they wrote, "we say goodbye for the moment but very soon we will see each other again in a new location with many surprises that we are preparing for you!".

So for fans of El Mitote, you have a reason to be happy.
Where and When Will El Mitote Reopen in Lubbock?
That information is not known right now. But, once we find out, we will update this story and let you know. El Mitote has built up a good fan base, so we bet it won't be too long that they stay closed.
