Lubbock Man Arrested Following Standoff With Police

Lubbock Police were called at around 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15th to the area near 52nd Street and Boston Avenue for reports of a man with a gun.
Officers were dispatched to the address in reference to 51-year-old Charles Adrian Gray "causing issues," according to KCBD News.
Officers arrived on scene and found Gray in the front yard with a rifle. When officers gave commands to Gray, he ignored them and walked through the house into the backyard. There were other occupants in the house, including a juvenile.
Gray was eventually taken into custody after the hour-long standoff.
Gray was charged with a felony count of Tampering with Evidence, a felony charge of Child Endangerment and Abandonment, and Evading Arrest.
