Nirvana Burger Is Back Under New Ownership, But With the Same Great Taste
This is so exciting. After only a month of being closed, we got the good news that Nirvana Burger is not going anywhere.
Back at the end of April, we got the sad news that Nirvana Burger's owners made the tough decision to close down. But just a month later, they posted that someone had bought the trailer and is taking over the restaurant.
If you've never had Nirvana Burger, you're truly missing out on a dang good burger. The new owners (pictured above) are Jerry and Heather Greene. They were born in Lubbock and have lived here their entire lives. The Greenes have dreamed of owning their own food truck for more than 15 years.
"It gives us the opportunity to provide for my family while also living out a dream doing something I truly enjoy, all while serving a community that we have been a part of and loved our entire lives," said Jerry Greene.
Lubbock is lucky because it's finally happening for them and I couldn't think of better people to take it over. They said they will definitely strive to give everyone the same product that they have come to love and enjoy.
"This opportunity fell in our laps and I felt like the Lord was telling us 'it's time' and so we stepped out in faith and took the plunge, and I don’t think we could be more excited about this than we are right now," Greene told me.
There isn't a set date just yet for their grand opening, but they do hope it will be in the next two weeks or so. You can follow them on Facebook to keep up to date on those details and more about where Nirvana Burger will be located.
If you haven't had these burgers, fries or hot dogs you're really missing out. They are some of my favorite. Honestly, everything I have tried has been so good. I mean, just look at these pictures below.
