Outdoor Report – Wildlife Photography
If you are looking for a wildlife photography adventure, head out to Buffalo Springs Lake!
We have a substantial population of white tail deer on the 1200+ acres that the water district owns. The best time to photograph the deer is right around daybreak. One morning I counted 30 deer on the back side of our property. We have spotted deer watering at the spillway area below the dam, Sandy Point beach, and even near the campgrounds. We also have spotted deer feeding at sunset.
So grab your camera and head out to the lake! We have all kinds of wildlife to see including deer, birds, foxes, coyotes, and turkeys! Y'all come.
