United Supermarkets is helping people stick to their nutritional plan without having to put in too much effort. Corporate dietician Brenda Garcia says they are continuously working to expand their “Ready Meal” line and create more meal options.

Garcia says they have been expanding upon the line to especially help people who might be following a specific diet or perhaps making lifestyle choices, such as low carbohydrate diets, have more options easily available to them. She said United Supermarkets identifies these options as ‘dietician top picks’. For the low carbohydrate meal options, she said there are 25 grams of carbohydrates or less in each of these meals.

The options are great even if you’re just looking to spice up your dinner options by trying something different. Garcia said some of their options are chicken kabobs, lemon herb pork loin, herb garlic chicken, potato crusted cod, and even honey chipotle salmon.

With school starting soon, the Ready Meals are also a great option if you don’t have time to meal prep at home. If you do have time to meal prep, you’ll want to take a look at the Happy + Nourished blog by United Supermarkets. It offers a lot of advice in making your prep more fun and also has a variety of recipes if you are someone who has time to spend in the kitchen.

If you don’t have much time and are considering trying Ready Meals, check them out next time you are at your local United Supermarkets. If you already love the Ready Meals but are hoping something new comes out soon, don’t fret. Garcia says she and the rest of the corporate dieticians are collaborating with their research and development team to bring new and tasty options to offer their customers.
