South Plains Food Bank Announces the Hiring of a New CEO
The South Plains Food Bank has announced the hiring of a new CEO to replace the retiring David Weaver.
Dina Jeffries joins the South Plains Food Bank after previously serving as the CEO for the Lubbock branch of the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
The South Plains Food Bank notes that Jeffries been working with Lubbock charities, and non-profits for over 30 years; the last 13 with the Ronald McDonald House.
SPFB officials also say that, "Jeffries will make an excellent ally in the fight against hunger. We are excited to see how her experience and dedication will serve the families of the South Plains facing food insecurity."
The South Plains Food Bank is headquartered in Lubbock and helps people throughout a 20 county footprint in the South Plains.
