Sponsor A Kid For Back To School Shopping With The Boys And Girls Clubs Of Lubbock

I know the kids are only thinking about just getting out of school for the summer. But we still need to plan for the upcoming school year too. Especially for many south plains kids who may not have the resources for back to school clothes and uniforms. That's where we step in to help.

Every year the Boys and Girls Clubs of Lubbock sponsor 70 local kids for back to school. This includes a new backpack for school supplies from the clubs, but most importantly it gives these kids an opportunity to go shopping with a volunteer for brand new back to school clothes. Too many kids rarely if ever know the joy of wearing brand new clothes to school. Too many of them have to rely on second hand clothes and hand me downs. This tiny gesture on our part makes an enormous difference in these kids lives. And for only $100 you can sponsor one of these 70 kids.

Even though school just got out, its never a wrong time to help kids be ready with new clothes, maybe for the first time in their lives.
