Sweet Caroline

Ever since the Boston Red Sox started playing Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" at all their games, the song has been linked to Boston. And last week, it became a source of comfort for the city after the Boston Marathon Bombing.

When Neil Diamond heard that Fenway Park was going to reopen on Saturday, he decided that he HAD to be there. So he caught a red-eye out of L.A. Friday night so he could hit the field and sing "Sweet Caroline" LIVE.

Ever since Monday's bombing at the Boston Marathon, several Major League Baseball stadiums have been showing their support by playing Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline" leading into the bottom of the eighth inning. At an event called 'The Carousel of Hope Ball 2012' w/ Neil Diamond got a little help from his friend George Clooney when he sang 'Sweet Caroline'.

Jack Black came onstage at a Neil Diamond concert and joined him for 'Sweet Caroline'. Back in 2001, Neil had a cameo role in Jack Black's movie, "Saving Silverman". He played himself.
