Former Reagor-Dykes Employees Sentenced for Roles in Fraud Scheme

On Tuesday, May 4th, 6 former Reagor-Dykes Auto Group employees were sentenced for their roles in a fraud scheme that led to the eventual bankruptcy of the company in 2018.

15 former employees so far have pleaded guilty to various crimes involving a check kiting scheme. Bart Reagor himself was even sentenced on charges of bank fraud on April 22nd. He has pleaded not guilty to those charges.

KAMC News reports that Sherri Wood, Pepper Rickman, Brad Fansler, Wesley Neel, Sheila Miller, and Diana Urias all pleaded guilty to charges of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Wood, Rickman, Fansler and Miller must voluntarily surrender on June 18th, 2021. Neel will have to report the day after, June 19th.

Wood was an office manager at the Reagor-Dykes Ford Dealership in Plainview. She was sentenced to around 2 and a half years in prison and must serve 3 years of supervised release.

Rickman was an accounting controller at the Toyota Dealership in Plainview, and was sentenced to 4 years in prison.

Fansler was a group administrative director and was sentenced to 3 and a half years. He will also serve 3 years of supervised release.

Neel was a Safety & Compliance Manager. He was sentenced to 2 and a half years in prison with a year of supervised release.

Sheila Miller was a group controller and was sentenced to around 2.3 years in prison with a year of supervised release.

Urias, an office manager in Reagor-Dykes' used car mall in Levelland, was sentenced to 2 years in prison.

Each person was also ordered to pay back portions of a total of over $40,000,000 in company losses. Wood, Rickman, Fansler and Miller must now pay $200 each month in restitution. Neel and Urias were only ordered to pay back $100 each month.
