Time to See if the Lubbock Police Department’s Got Game
The Lubbock Police Department, along with Hub City Street Hoops, are teaming up for basketball between LPD officers and local kids.
From the Lubbock Police Department:
Dubbed “The Breaker Game," youth basketball players will try to defeat LPD officers and take back the winning title that officers secured in the last game.
Two 20-minute games will be played on the Dream Court. In the first game, LPD officers will take on the older, teen-aged basketball league. The second game will be against the younger kids.
The LPD is inviting the community out for this fun event. Entertainment and food will be available.
The event will be held this Friday, March 9th starting at 5 p.m. at 2004 Oak Ave., behind the Mae Simmons Community Center.
