As we're rolling into 2023, our friends at United Supermarkets have been working extra hard to showcase ways we can make the healthy choices and habits we've resolved to make last well into the year.

It's something Corporate Dietician Brenda Garcia discusses with us a lot, and we wanted to pass on her best tips:

1) Use the Lifestyle Tags while shopping online and in the store. Throughout United Supermarkets, you can see products tagged with phrases such as Heart Healthy, Paleo, Ketogenic, Dietician Top Pick, and No Sugar Added. That means that Garcia or someone on her team has identified the product as meeting certain standards that could help you maintain your health goals. Learn more about the tags here.

2) Try new foods and recipes. Sometimes we think healthy means boring, but United Supermarkets is continuously adding and highlighting foods that not only are good for you but just might taste pretty good, too. For example, if you haven't tried protein-rich bone broth yet, they suggest picking up Fond Bone Broth. You could use it in soup or to cook more flavor into a grain or legume. See more product suggestions here.
