Sometimes, when you drive through Lubbock you see a home that catches your eye and makes you go "whoa." This one, has been just that for me. This standout among a sea of tract homes in North Lubbock, which looks tailor made for prom photos and Christmas gatherings. And now, it's up for sale.

Driving up Milwaukee last night, I slowed down again to admire the home, and immediately noticed "For Sale" signs out front of this Yellow Rose of Texas at the corner of 2nd and Milwaukee.

So, as soon as I had the chance, a quick online search led me to the listing.

The first thing I noticed, was that it was NOT a turn-of-the-century charmer. It was built in 1997. Oh well, still looks cool to me!
