I recently wrote a blog about the Lubbock Police Department's Homeless Outreach Team. And right now The House Of Furniture at 46th and Ave Q is doing a drive to support them.

This is a really cool program that our Police are doing for our community. Right now the list of requested donations includes:

Backpacks

Boots

Coveralls

Insect Repellant

Toothbrushes

Toothpaste

Soap and other personal hygiene products

And gift cards to area merchants are also welcome.
