Kabang is a two-year-old shepherd-mix from Zamboanga City in the southern Philippines. In December, 2011, she JUMPED in front of a speeding motorcycle to save her owner's 11-year-old daughter and niece from getting run over. Kabang got hit by the motorcycle and ended up losing her SNOUT.

Here's a reminder to be extra careful any time you bring your dog into an elevator. A security camera in Russia captured a woman entering an elevator with her pug. Then the pug runs out, the doors close on its leash, and it gets lifted up in the air when the elevator starts going up. Luckily, someone standing nearby sees it happen, and unhooks the leash just in time.

22-year-old Zhang Heng decided to celebrate his college graduation with a 20-day bicycle trip across China with six of his friends. 90 miles into their trip, in Yajiang, Zhang found a stray dog in the street. Zhang fed it, and the dog ran after them. And he CONTINUED to follow them for the rest of their 20-day trip...which was more than 1,100 miles.
