One of the absolute joys of Facebook is the ability to anonymously stalk people.  I mean, without being able to see how chubby everyone from your past has gotten, why would you even have a profile?

But yesterday, Facebook took the first step toward ruining the glory of stealth-stalking.  And it scares us.

As of yesterday, whenever you visit a Facebook group...like your bowling team or a party announcement or whatever...you can see a list of everyone who's seen each of the posts in that group.

Facebook says it's useful because, quote, "For example, in your soccer group you can post the new practice time and then see who got [and who didn't get] the update."

They haven't announced any more features like this...for example, showing you a list of who clicked on your new photo album...but it shows they might be heading in that direction.
