Getting Concert Tickets Has Gotten Weird
I'm just joking, because ticketing around here has gotten nutty.
Finding tickets has gotten tougher lately. With new venues, emerging promoters and shows coming back, it can be tough to figure out where to get your tickets.
Shows at the United Supermarkets Arena and the Lubbock Civic Center (i.e. really large concerts) will most likely be handled by Select-a-Seat and ticketed here.
Shows at The Buddy Holly Hall (mostly Broadway, comedy shows, slightly upscale concerts) are ticketed here.
Din Productions (mostly rock, some metal) are ticketed here.
J&B Productions shows (mostly rock and a whole lotta metal) are ticketed by Stubwire.
Rampage Wrestling, industrial (workshop and education-type stuff) and other events are handled by Eventbrite.
Ralph's Records also handles almost all Din, J&B, and Select-a-Seat shows. (They do carry for some other shows and are really hoping to carry Buddy Holly Hall tickets at some point.)
Tickets to Texas Tech events are available online here and are now "100 percent mobile tickets." (I think that means electronic and not paper.)
Even though it's just an annual event, I should also mention that tickets to the Budweiser/4B 12th Annual Wild West Lonestar Fest are available here.
Then again, we have radio presales, artist presales, city presales, VIP presales and so on, so does any of this even matter anymore?
Is that clear yet? I didn't think so. When you hear an announcement for a show you want to go to on the radio or online at Awesome 98, make a mental note on where to get tickets for that show, or just reach out to us and we'll help.
