United Supermarkets corporate dietitian Brenda Garcia recently was telling us how fish and seafood are great sources of lean protein, vitamin D and Omega-3 fatty acids.

She mentioned that halibut is coming into season, and we slowly realized ... not many of us had cooked halibut before. You see it on restaurant menus all the time, but what if you're cooking at home?

United Supermarkets has you covered. The staff at their seafood counter is pretty well versed in seafood, so when you're shopping, don't hesitate to ask them for suggestions on cooking and seasoning any seafood, from shrimp to lobster and more. In addition, they'll also season and steam your fish for you for FREE. (Halibut is a white, fleshy fish, so pan-searing it is an easy, fast option.)

On top of that, Garcia and her colleagues have a few tips and educational bits on their blog, Happy + Nourished:

Happy + Nourished is offering a free digital cookbook with recipes for a variety of diets and lifestyles and, of course, they are adding content to the website all the time. To ensure you don't miss out on any of Happy + Nourished's great tips, scroll down to the bottom of their website and sign up for their newsletter. You'll get the latest right in your inbox!
