Are you ready for some FOOTBALL?

Well, I am.

I know that here in the Hub City, we have a special bond with Patrick Mahomes. The former Texas Tech star is...in a word...a superstar. The kid is going to be one of the greatest quarterbacks in league history, and the fact that he played his college ball here is something we can all be proud of.

However, did you notice how I phrased that sentence? ONE of the best...

Sorry, I'm a little biased, because I have seen the GOAT, and its not Patrick...at least not yet.

It's this guy.

Yep. Joe Montana.

The guy NEVER lost a Super Bowl. Say what you want about Tom Brady, but he's come up short more than a few times...and is apparently a half-human Android anyway, so he doesn't count.

I am an unapologetic San Francisco 49ers fan,and always will be.  As much as I like Patrick Mahomes, it broke my heart to see him take my guys down in last years Big Game. Yes, I am also on the Jimmy Garropolo bandwagon, and think he'll be another superstar, but I will freely admit that Patrick Mahomes...right now...is the better quarterback.

But, he's no Joe Montana.

Not yet.

That framed Joe Montana jersey will soon adorn the walls once again at Oficina De Ballance...and probably spark more than a few hallway conversations around here. I'm looking forward to all of those, and will defend my guy.
