Lubbock Man Indicted After Violent Kidnapping

A police report has revealed the details concerning an alleged violent kidnapping that took place on Christmas Day, 2019.

According to KAMC News, 34-year-old Andres Criado was in a relationship with the victim, who he found at a bar in the 3500 block of 34th Street with another man.

Reports say that Criado grabbed the victim by her hair and struck her multiple times, threw her in the passenger side of a car, and when she tried to get out he struck her again.

The victim was able to escape but is said to have been caught and attacked again.

She was able to escape again and knock on someone's door for help. She was found covered in blood and bruises.

Criado remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center on bonds totaling over $100,000.
