Lubbock Police Make Arrest in Connection to Death at Salvation Army

The Lubbock Police Department have made an arrest in connection to a death over the weekend at the Salvation Army.
Officers responded to a call just before 1 p.m. on Sunday, January 30th, at the Salvation Army, located at 1614 Avenue J. Upon arrival, 53 year-old Sergio Sigala was found with serious injuries and was taken to University Medical Center where he later died.
An investigation revealed an argument between Sigala and 36 year-old Devin Dunlap occurred but at some point Dunlap allegedly struck Sigala.
Dunlap was arrested for aggravated assault and booked into the Lubbock County Detention Center.
An investigation into this incident is ongoing.
