On This Day in 1984 – The Boss Goes Platinum
On this day in 1984 the album 'Born In The U.S.A.', by Bruce Springsteen, featuring the title track, 'Glory Days', 'Dancing In The Dark', 'I'm On Fire' and 'Cover Me', was first certified Gold and Platinum.
It went 15-TIMES PLATINUM in April of 1995.
My personal favorite on the album was 'I'm On Fire'. Here's the original video with the vignette...or short film...in the beginning:
