35-year-old Justin Lee Solano of Levelland has been arrested after he was accused of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's home and kidnapping her.

Reports say that at around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, April 12th, the victim, who wasn't identified, and her friend were inside their home in the 2700 block of 68th Street when her dog began barking at someone at the front door. When she opened the door, she saw Solano approaching the home.

The victim said that Solano has a history of "violent tendencies," so she immediately instructed her friend to call the police. Shortly after, Solano is alleged to have kicked in the front door and punched the victim in the face.

KAMC News report that Solano told the victim he would hurt her if she didn't go with him. He the allegedly dragged the victim towards the door and grabbed her keys, leaving in the victim's vehicle.

Police located Solano driving in the 2700 block of 68th Street toward the victim's home at around 10 p.m. He was then arrested for intent to commit a felony, aggravated kidnapping and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. The victim refused treatment by EMS.

Solano remains in the Lubbock County Detention Center with bonds totaling $60,000.
